ASMP Photo Shootout

February 25, 2008 at 7:49 am (ASMP) ()

How do photographers have fun? They have a shootout! On Saturday I participated in ASMP’s (the american society of media photographers) annual photo shootout. It was my second year competing. We arrived, they gave us an object (this year it was a small paper animal cup with a pack of gum and a foam heart) and we had one hour to make the best image we could. Here are a few of my favorites from the adventure.

I bet you never knew a paper animal cup could be so much fun!

Back in the Darkroom

February 4, 2008 at 7:16 pm (Honduras) ()

I’m in an art show coming up in a few weeks at Biola University. I’m very excited to be back working in the darkroom to produce these images on beautiful silver gelatin paper. These are images from the Mayan ruins in Copan, Honduras.
